Vampire Bite Shot
A bold, blood-red party shot with sweet berry flavor and a spooky Halloween vibe. Perfect for themed parties or dramatic cocktails.
Ingredients
- 1/2 oz raspberry vodka
- 1/2 oz cranberry juice
- 1/2 oz raspberry liqueur (such as Chambord)
- Fresh raspberries (for garnish or muddling)
- 2 drops red food coloring (for a deeper “blood” effect)
- Granulated sugar (for rimming the shot glass)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Glass
- Lightly wet the rim of a shot glass (use water or a little cranberry juice).
- Dip the rim into granulated sugar to coat it.
- Set aside.
2. Mix the Shot
- In a cocktail shaker, add:
- 1/2 oz raspberry vodka
- 1/2 oz cranberry juice
- 1/2 oz raspberry liqueur
- Add 2 drops of red food coloring to intensify the color.
- Add a few ice cubes and shake well for 8–10 seconds until chilled.
3. Add a “Bite” Effect (Optional but fun)
- Place 1 fresh raspberry at the bottom of the shot glass, or
- Gently muddle a raspberry before pouring the drink for a deeper, “bloody” texture.
4. Serve
- Strain the mixture into the prepared shot glass.
- Add an extra raspberry on top for garnish if desired.
Serving Tip
Serve immediately for the freshest flavor.
For a spooky touch, lightly drizzle a drop of raspberry syrup down the inside of the glass to mimic a vampire bite.
