Crockpot Christmas Candy 

This classic slow-cooker holiday treat is incredibly easy to make and perfect for gifting. Rich, nutty, and chocolatey, it requires no baking—just mix, melt, scoop, and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds salted peanuts
  • 1 bag (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 bag (12 oz) milk chocolate chips
  • 2 bars (4 oz each) German sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 2 pounds white almond bark, broken into chunks

Instructions

1. Layer the Ingredients

  1. Spray the slow cooker lightly with nonstick spray (optional but helps with cleanup).
  2. Add ingredients in this order:
    • Salted peanuts
    • Semi-sweet chocolate chips
    • Milk chocolate chips
    • Chopped German sweet chocolate
    • White almond bark on top

Do not stir yet.

2. Slow Cook

  1. Cover the crockpot.
  2. Cook on LOW heat for 2 to 3 hours, depending on your slow cooker.
  3. After 2 hours, check and stir gently.
    • The chocolate should be completely melted.
    • If not, continue cooking for another 20–30 minutes.

3. Mix Thoroughly

  • Once everything is melted, stir until all the chocolate is fully combined and the peanuts are evenly coated.

4. Shape the Candy

  1. Line baking sheets or your counter with wax paper or parchment paper.
  2. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture (about 1–2 tablespoons each) onto the paper.
  3. Let them set at room temperature until firm, about 1–2 hours.
    • For faster setting, refrigerate for 20–30 minutes.

Storage

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2–3 weeks.
  • Freeze for up to 3 months.

Optional Holiday Add-Ins

Stir in or sprinkle on:

  • Red & green M&M’s
  • Crushed peppermint
  • Holiday sprinkles
  • Pretzel pieces
  • Mini marshmallows (mix in after melting to avoid melting them)

Serving Tip

Package the candies in festive tins, bags, or boxes for effortless holiday gifts. They look beautiful and taste even better!
