Loaded Hummus

Loaded Hummus

Base Ingredients:

  • 1½ cups classic hummus (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika (or regular paprika)

Toppings:

  • ½ cup cherry or grape tomatoes, halved
  • ½ cup cucumber, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup Kalamata olives, whole or sliced
  • ¼ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • ¼ cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or mint
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional Add-Ins:

  • Roasted red peppers
  • Artichoke hearts
  • Pine nuts or toasted chickpeas for added crunch
  • A drizzle of balsamic glaze or tahini

Instructions

1. Spread the Hummus:
Transfer the hummus to a serving platter and spread it into a thick, even layer. Use the back of a spoon to create soft swirls for a beautiful presentation.

2. Add Olive Oil & Paprika:
Drizzle the olive oil over the hummus and dust the top with smoked paprika.

3. Add the Toppings:
Layer the hummus with cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, red onion, and feta. Sprinkle with fresh herbs, then season lightly with salt and pepper.

 

 

4. Serve:
Serve immediately with warm pita, chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
