Christmas Sugar Cookie Loaf with Vanilla Sprinkle Glaze

Christmas Sugar Cookie Loaf with Vanilla Sprinkle Glaze
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- Holiday sprinkles
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Cream the butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until the batter is smooth and just combined—avoid overmixing.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and gently tap it on the counter to remove air bubbles.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool the loaf in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled (or slightly warm) loaf, then finish with festive holiday sprinkles.
