Homemade Tea-Time Cookies | Quick & Easy
These delightful cookies are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and infused with the warm aroma of cardamom. Perfect with tea or coffee, they’re made with simple pantry ingredients and topped with crunchy nuts for an extra treat.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup gram flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup semolina
- A pinch of cardamom powder
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- Chopped nuts, for topping
Instructions:
- Prepare the Dough:
In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, gram flour, baking powder, powdered sugar, semolina, and cardamom powder. Mix until evenly blended. - Add Butter:
Pour in the melted butter and mix until a soft, pliable dough forms. - Shape the Cookies:
Take small portions of the dough and shape them into rounds or your desired cookie shape. - Add Toppings:
Press chopped nuts lightly on top of each cookie. - Bake:
Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F). Arrange the cookies on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 10–15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
