Soft No-Knead Sandwich Bread

Soft No-Knead Sandwich Bread
No Eggs • No Butter • Super Soft & Fluffy
I can’t stop making this bread! It’s incredibly soft, light, and delicious—and the best part? No kneading, no eggs, and no butter. Perfect for sandwiches, toast, or enjoying warm with your favorite spread.
Ingredients
- 3 ½ cups (440 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups (360 ml) warm water (not hot)
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons salt
- 2 ¼ teaspoons instant yeast (1 packet)
Instructions
- Activate the Yeast
In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast.
Stir gently and let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy. - Make the Dough
Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture.
Stir with a spoon or spatula until fully combined.
The dough will be sticky—this is normal. - First Rise
Cover the bowl with a clean towel or plastic wrap.
Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size. - Shape the Bread
Lightly grease a loaf pan (9×5 inch).
Transfer the dough into the pan and smooth the top with a spatula or lightly oiled hands. - Second Rise
Cover and let rise for 30 minutes, until slightly puffed. - Bake
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake for 30–35 minutes, until golden brown and the loaf sounds hollow when tapped. - Cool & Serve
Remove from pan and let cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
