Ingredients:

 

– 1 cup apple juice

 

– 1 cup apple cider

 

– 1 cup flavored vodka (such as apple pie or cinnamon)

 

– 2 packets (0.25 oz each) unflavored gelatin

 

– 1/4 cup granulated sugar

 

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

 

– 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

 

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

 

– Cooking spray or silicone gummy molds

 

 

 

Directions:

 

1. Begin by preparing your gummy molds. Lightly spray the inside of silicone molds with cooking spray to ensure the gummies can be easily removed once set. Set aside.

 

 

2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the apple juice, apple cider, and flavored vodka. Stir gently to mix the liquids together.

 

 

3. In a separate small bowl, sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over 1/4 cup of the apple juice mixture. Let it sit for about 5 minutes. This process is called blooming and helps the gelatin dissolve properly.

 

 

4. After the gelatin has bloomed, add it to the remaining apple juice mixture in the medium bowl. Stir well until the gelatin is completely dissolved. This may take a few minutes; ensure there are no lumps.

 

 

5. Once the gelatin is fully dissolved, add the granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to the mixture. Stir continuously until the sugar is fully dissolved and all ingredients are well combined.

 

 

6. Carefully pour the mixture into the prepared gummy molds. Use a small measuring cup or a dropper for more precision if necessary.

 

 

7. Place the filled molds in the refrigerator. Allow the gummies to set for at least 4 hours or until they are firm to the touch.

 

 

8. Once set, carefully remove the gummies from the molds. If you encounter any resistance, gently twist the molds to release the gummies.

 

 

 

9. Store the Apple Pie Moonshine Gummies in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They are best enjoyed within a week for optimal texture and flavor.
