Ingredients
1 box (12–16 oz) saltine crackers
1 cup neutral oil (vegetable, canola, or avocado oil)
1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon black pepper
Optional (for extra heat):
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
1️⃣ Mix the Seasoning Oil
In a bowl or measuring cup, whisk together:
Oil
Ranch seasoning
Crushed red pepper flakes
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Black pepper
Any optional spices
2️⃣ Coat the Crackers
Place crackers in a large zip-top bag or airtight container.
Pour the seasoned oil over the crackers.
Seal tightly and gently turn or flip to evenly coat all crackers.
3️⃣ Let Them Soak
Leave crackers at room temperature for 8–12 hours or overnight.
Every hour or so, gently flip the bag/container to redistribute the seasoning.
(No baking needed — the crackers absorb all the flavor!)
4️⃣ Serve
Ready to eat straight from the bag
No draining required
Flavor gets even better after 24 hours
