Servings: 4
Ingredients
12 oz spaghetti
1 lb lean ground beef
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
1 small onion, finely diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 cup beef broth
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti until al dente. Drain and set aside
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until soft and translucent.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed
Stir in the minced garlic, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant
Sprinkle the flour over the beef mixture and stir well to combine.
Slowly pour in the beef broth and heavy cream while stirring continuously to create a smooth sauce. Let simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
Reduce heat to low and stir in the cheddar, parmesan, and mozzarella cheeses until completely melted and creamy
Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss until every strand is coated in the rich garlic cheddar cream sauce
Serve hot with extra parmesan cheese, cracked black pepper, and fresh parsley on top.
