Cheesy Garlic Pull-Apart Bread (Game Night Favorite)
Serves: 6–8
Prep time: 10 min
Cook time: 25 min
Ingredients
- 1 large round loaf of bread (sourdough or Italian works best)
- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cut the bread — without slicing all the way through — into a criss-cross pattern (1-inch squares).
- Mix the butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Gently separate the bread cubes and drizzle the butter mixture evenly into all the cracks.
- Stuff cheese between the cuts — use both mozzarella and Parmesan for the perfect gooey + salty combo.
- Wrap the loaf loosely in foil and place it on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then open the foil and bake 10 more minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot! Pull pieces apart and enjoy while warm.
Optional Add-Ins
- Add cooked bacon bits or diced pepperoni for a meaty twist.
- Sprinkle chili flakes for a little heat.
- Use cheddar, provolone, or any melting cheese you love.
