Cilantro-Lime Avocado Salsa

Cilantro-Lime Avocado Salsa
Ingredients:
- 6 tomatillos
- 1 jalapeño (optional, for extra heat)
- 2 ripe avocados
- A handful of fresh cilantro
- 1/2 cup Mexican crema
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon powder
- 1 tablespoon salt (or to taste)
- Juice of 2 limes
- 1/4 white onion
Instructions:
- Prepare the Tomatillos
Remove the husks from the tomatillos and rinse them well. Boil or roast them for 5–7 minutes until they soften. - Blend the Base
Add the cooked tomatillos to a blender along with the jalapeño, onion, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and bouillon powder. Blend until smooth. - Add the Avocados
Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into the blender. Add the Mexican crema, then blend again until the salsa is creamy and well combined. - Adjust Seasoning
Taste and adjust salt, lime, or cilantro as needed.
- Serve
Serve immediately as a dip with chips or as a topping for tacos, grilled meats, bowls, or salads.
