Ingredients
For the Dough
3 cups all-purpose flour
2¼ tsp instant yeast
2 tbsp sugar
½ tsp salt
1 cup warm milk
3 tbsp melted butter
1 egg
For the Filling
1 cup mashed sweet potato
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
For the Topping
1 egg (for egg wash)
½ cup chopped pecans
1 tbsp honey (optional)

Directions
1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
2. Add milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a dough forms.
3. Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Cover and let rise for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
5. Prepare the filling by mixing mashed sweet potato, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.
6. Divide dough into 14–16 portions. Flatten each piece, spoon in 1 teaspoon of filling, and seal tightly.
7. Place filled dough balls into a greased round baking pan.
8. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
9. Bake at 180°C/350°F for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown.
10. (Optional) Drizzle with honey while still warm for extra sweetness.
