Brown sugar ⅔ cup
Butter ½ cup (1 stick)
Corn syrup ⅓ cup
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Baking soda ¼ teaspoon

Ground cinnamon 1½ teaspoons
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Base
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
3. Add 5 cups of Honeycomb cereal to a large mixing bowl and set aside.
Step 2: Make the Caramel Coating
1. In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup.
2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture starts to bubble.
3. Boil for 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
4. Stir in vanilla extract and baking soda—the mixture will foam slightly.
Step 3: Coat and Bake
1. Pour the hot caramel over the cereal and stir gently until evenly coated.
2. Spread the coated cereal evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
3. Bake for 10–12 minutes, stirring once halfway through for even crisping.
Step 4: Add the Churro Touch
1. In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
2. When the cereal comes out of the oven, toss immediately with the cinnamon-sugar mixture until well coated.
Step 5: Cool and Store
1. Let the cereal cool completely on the pan.
2. Enjoy right away or store in an airtight container to keep it crunchy and fresh.
