Crockpot Candy Recipe – Easy Homemade Chocolate Clusters
This Crockpot Candy is a delicious, no-fuss holiday (or anytime!) treat — rich, crunchy, and perfectly sweet. With creamy chocolate, roasted peanuts, festive M&M’s, and sprinkles, these clusters make a fun and colorful gift or party snack.
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds (32 oz) white almond bark (or white candy coating)
- 4 oz (about ½ cup) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 4 oz (about ½ cup) milk chocolate chips
- 1 (16 oz) jar salted dry-roasted peanuts
- 1 (16 oz) jar unsalted dry-roasted peanuts (for a balanced flavor)
- 1 cup holiday or regular M&M’s (plus extra for topping)
- Colorful sprinkles (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Layer in the Slow Cooker:
- Add both types of peanuts to the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Top with the almond bark (broken into chunks), semi-sweet chocolate chips, and milk chocolate chips.
- Melt the Chocolate:
- Cover and cook on LOW for 1 to 1½ hours, stirring occasionally.
- Once the chocolate is smooth and fully melted, turn off the heat.
- Add Mix-Ins:
- Stir in 1 cup of M&M’s, mixing gently to combine.
- Form the Candy Clusters:
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture (about 1–2 tablespoons each) onto the paper.
- Top each cluster with a few extra M&M’s and a sprinkle of festive decorations.
- Cool and Set:
- Allow the candy to sit at room temperature until completely firm — about 1 hour.
- For quicker setting, you can refrigerate the trays for 20–30 minutes.
Storage Tips:
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
- For longer storage, refrigerate for up to 1 month or freeze for 2 months.
Perfect for Gifting:
Package these in small holiday tins, mason jars, or treat bags for a homemade present that’s as beautiful as it is delicious!
