Fruity Lemon Moonshine

Ingredients (makes 4 pint-sized jars):

  • 4 pint-sized mason jars
  • 4 lemons, sliced (1 lemon per jar)
  • 4 cups Everclear (1 cup per jar)
  • 4 tbsp simple syrup (1 tbsp per jar)
  • 4 tsp cupcake syrup (1 tsp per jar)
  • 8 tbsp marshmallow syrup (2 tbsp per jar)
  • Cheesecloth

 

 

 

Instructions:

  1. Make the Simple Syrup:
    In a saucepan over medium heat, combine water and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves and forms a smooth syrup. Allow it to cool completely before using.
  2. Prepare the Jars:
    Add lemon slices to each mason jar.
  3. Combine Ingredients:
    Pour in 1 tbsp simple syrup, 1 tsp cupcake syrup, 2 tbsp marshmallow syrup, and 1 cup Everclear into each jar.
  4. Mix:
    Shake each jar well until all ingredients are fully combined.
  5. Infuse:
    Store the jars at room temperature away from direct sunlight. Shake the jars every two days to help with the infusion.
  6. Strain:
    After 4 weeks, strain out the fruit using cheesecloth.

 

 

  1. Store and Serve:
    Pour the moonshine back into the jars and seal tightly. Keep in the refrigerator for up to 30 days.
