Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
1 ½ cups BBQ sauce
1 cup pineapple chunks (with a little juice)
1 small onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish
Instructions
Place the chicken in the slow cooker.
Add BBQ sauce, pineapple, onion, garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, and smoked paprika.
Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
