Heavenly Cinnamon Roll Breadtwists

Ingredients

1 can refrigerated crescent dough

¼ cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

3 tablespoons melted butter

Optional glaze (highly recommended):

½ cup powdered sugar

1–2 tablespoons milk

¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

 

 

 

 

Instructions

Preheat oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare cinnamon sugar

In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon until well combined.

Prepare dough

Unroll the crescent dough and press the seams together to form one large rectangle.

Butter & sprinkle

Brush the melted butter evenly over the dough.

Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture generously over the top.

Cut & twist

Cut the dough into 8–10 long strips.

Twist each strip gently and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake

Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.

Make glaze (optional)

Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.

Finish

Drizzle glaze over warm breadtwists or brush with extra melted butter and a pinch of cinnamon sugar.

 

 

 

Serving Tips

Best served warm

Great with coffee, tea, or hot chocolate

Can be dipped in cream cheese frosting or vanilla icing
