Homemade French Onion Dip
Ingredients:
- 16 oz (450 g) sour cream
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup dried minced onion
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (plus more to taste)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- ½ teaspoon celery salt
- ⅛ teaspoon paprika
- ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Potato chips or fresh vegetable sticks, for serving
Instructions:
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Add the dried minced onion, onion powder, parsley flakes, celery salt, paprika, and black pepper.
- Stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly blended.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning with a little extra Worcestershire sauce or salt if needed.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to develop.
Serving Suggestion:Serve chilled with your favorite potato chips, pretzels, or a colorful platter of fresh veggies like carrots, celery, and bell peppers.
