Homemade French Onion Dip

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz (450 g) sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup dried minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (plus more to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley flakes
  • ½ teaspoon celery salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon paprika
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • Potato chips or fresh vegetable sticks, for serving

 

Instructions:

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Add the dried minced onion, onion powder, parsley flakes, celery salt, paprika, and black pepper.
  3. Stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly blended.
  4. Taste and adjust the seasoning with a little extra Worcestershire sauce or salt if needed.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to develop.

 

Serving Suggestion:Serve chilled with your favorite potato chips, pretzels, or a colorful platter of fresh veggies like carrots, celery, and bell peppers.
