
Crockpot Hot Chocolate
Warm, creamy, and perfect for sharing—this slow-cooker hot chocolate stays smooth and indulgent for hours, making it ideal for gatherings, movie nights, and winter celebrations.

Ingredients
3½ cups heavy cream, divided
1 cup (for whisking with cocoa powder)
2½ cups (for the crockpot)
¼ cup unsweetened Dutch-processed cocoa powder
4 cups whole milk
14 oz sweetened condensed milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Mini marshmallows, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Make the Cocoa Mixture
In a small saucepan over low heat, whisk together:
1 cup heavy cream
Cocoa powder
Whisk continuously until smooth and fully dissolved.
Heat just until warm—do not boil.
Remove from heat.
2. Add to Crockpot
Pour the cocoa mixture into the slow cooker.
Add:
Remaining 2½ cups heavy cream
Whole milk
Sweetened condensed milk
Vanilla extract
Chocolate chips
Stir gently until combined.
3. Cook
Cover and cook on LOW for 2–3 hours.
Stir every 30 minutes to prevent scorching and help melt the chocolate evenly.
Once smooth and hot, switch to the WARM setting for serving.
Serve
Ladle into mugs.
Top with mini marshmallows if desired.
Optional add-ins: whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or a sprinkle of cocoa powder.
Tips
For extra richness, replace 1 cup of milk with more cream.
Keep the lid on while serving to maintain heat.
Stir occasionally if kept warm for long periods
