Quick 2-Ingredient Caramel Moonshine

This is the simplest method, requiring only patience for the candies to dissolve.

Ingredients: 60 chewy caramel candies and 4 cups of vodka or plain moonshine.

 

 

 

Instructions:

Prepare Jars: Unwrap the caramels and divide them equally among four small (8–10 oz) mason jars (15 per jar).

Infuse: Fill each jar with the spirit, leaving about a half-inch of headspace. Seal tightly.

Dissolve: Shake the jars for 1–2 minutes, then store them in a cool, dark place for about one week. Shake daily to help the caramels melt.

 

 

 

Strain: Once dissolved, strain the mixture through cheesecloth or a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher to remove any undissolved candy bits.

 

 

Store: Return the liquid to jars and refrigerate until ready to serve.
