Grape Jolly Rancher Moonshine

Ingredients:

1 liter Everclear or high-proof vodka

2 cups grape Jolly Rancher candies

1 cup grape juice

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 cup water

 

 

Instructions:

1. Place the grape Jolly Rancher candies and Everclear (or vodka) into a large mason jar or glass container.

2. Seal the container and let it sit at room temperature, shaking occasionally, until the candies are completely dissolved (about 24–48 hours).

 

 

3. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar fully dissolves to create a simple syrup. Allow it to cool.

4. Once the candies have dissolved, pour the grape juice and cooled simple syrup into the jar. Stir well to mix everything together.

5. Reseal the jar and let the mixture rest for another 24 hours to allow the flavors to blend.

6. Before serving, shake the moonshine well. Enjoy it chilled or over ice.

 

 

 

Tips:

Adjust the sweetness by using more or less simple syrup to suit your taste.

Store the moonshine in the refrigerator for up to one month.

For a fun variation, experiment with different flavors of Jolly Rancher candies.
