Strawberry Heaven Cake (Serves 12–15)

 

 

Ingredients

For the Cake:

1 box strawberry cake mix

4 large eggs (room temperature)

1 cup sour cream

¾ cup vegetable oil

½ cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Optional Add-Ins (Highly Recommended):

1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped

½ cup white chocolate chips or strawberry chips

Creamy Strawberry Frosting (Optional but Amazing)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

3–4 cups powdered sugar (to taste)

½ cup strawberry preserves or strawberry puree

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

 

 

 

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the Oven & Pan

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)

Grease and flour a 9×13-inch pan, Bundt pan, or two 9-inch round pans

 

 

2️⃣ Make the Cake Batter

In a large mixing bowl:

Add cake mix, eggs, sour cream, oil, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon

Beat with a mixer on medium speed for 2–3 minutes until smooth and thick

Fold in strawberries and/or chips if using

 

 

3️⃣ Bake

Pour batter evenly into prepared pan

Bake:

 

 

 

9×13 pan: 40–45 minutes

Round pans: 30–35 minutes

Bundt pan: 50–55 minutes

Cake is done when a toothpick comes out clean

Cool in pan for 10–15 minutes, then remove and cool completely

Frosting Instructions

Beat cream cheese and butter until fluffy

Add powdered sugar gradually

Mix in strawberry preserves, vanilla, and salt

Beat until smooth and creamy

Spread over cooled cake

Garnish Ideas

Fresh sliced strawberries

White chocolate shavings

Light dusting of powdered sugar

Strawberry drizzle on top

 

 

 

Tips for Heaven-Level Flavor

Use full-fat sour cream for best moisture

Add 1 teaspoon strawberry extract for extra punch

Chill cake for 30 minutes before slicing for clean cuts
