Forbidden Fries with Molten Chocolate “Ketchup”

 

Frozen bananas into shockingly realistic golden fries with a rich dripping chocolate dip.

 

 

 

Ingredients:

 

Banana “Fries”:

 

4 large bananas

 

120 g graham cracker crumbs

 

1 tsp cinnamon

 

2 tbsp brown sugar

 

2 tbsp melted butter

 

1 tbsp honey

 

Liquid Chocolate Dip:

 

200 g dark chocolate

 

120 ml heavy cream

 

1 tbsp maple syrup

 

1 tsp vanilla extract

 

 

 

Finish:

 

Extra cinnamon sugar

 

Crushed graham crumbs

 

The smell of warm cinnamon crumbs and flowing melted chocolate makes this playful dessert dangerously addictive.

 

Instructions:

 

Peel the bananas and cut them into thick fry-shaped sticks.

 

Brush the banana sticks lightly with honey.

 

Mix graham cracker crumbs, cinnamon, and brown sugar in a bowl.

 

Roll each banana stick in the crumb mixture until fully coated.

 

 

 

 

Arrange on a parchment-lined tray.

 

Freeze for at least 2 hours until firm.

 

Add dark chocolate to a heatproof bowl.

 

Heat the heavy cream until steaming but not boiling.

 

Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let sit for 1 minute.

 

 

 

Stir until silky smooth.

 

Mix in maple syrup and vanilla.

 

Fill a paper fry cone or fry carton with the frozen banana fries.

 

Sprinkle with extra cinnamon crumbs.

 

Serve immediately with the warm liquid chocolate dip.
