Blue Raspberry Moonshine

Ingredients

 

1 gallon Blue Raspberry Kool-Aid, prepared

(Use 2 packets + 1 gallon water, or any blue raspberry drink mix)

 

1½–2 cups granulated sugar (adjust to sweetness)

 

 

2 cups blue raspberry syrup

(like Torani Blue Raspberry or any similar syrup)

 

3 cups 190-proof Everclear

 

1 cup vanilla vodka or regular vodka

 

Optional: 1–2 drops blue food coloring for deeper blue color

 

Optional garnish: fresh raspberries or blue candy

 

 

 

Instructions

 

1. Make the blue raspberry base

 

In a large pot, pour in the prepared blue raspberry drink.

 

Add sugar and heat over medium heat.

 

Stir until the sugar fully dissolves.

 

Do NOT boil — just warm enough to melt the sugar.

 

2. Add syrup

 

Stir in the blue raspberry syrup until well mixed.

 

3. Cool completely

 

Remove from heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature.

(Alcohol must NEVER be added hot.)

 

4. Add the alcohol

 

When fully cooled, mix in:

 

3 cups Everclear

 

1 cup vodka

 

Stir very well.

 

5. Optional: Adjust color

 

Add a drop or two of blue food coloring if you want a brighter blue moonshine.

 

6. Bottle it

 

Pour into mason jars or glass bottles.

 

Seal tightly and shake each jar.

 

7. Chill & age

 

Refrigerate for at least 24 hours.

 

Gets smoother after 3–7 days.

 

 

 

 

Serving Ideas

 

Serve ice cold

Mix with Sprite or lemonade

Blend with ice for a slushy

Use as a cocktail base
