Ingredients (Serves 3–4)

  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil (olive oil, sunflower, or butter)
  • 1 medium onion, finely sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small head of cabbage (about 4 cups), finely shredded
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder (optional, for color and mild flavor)
  • ½ teaspoon chili flakes or chopped fresh chili (optional, for a little heat)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional for umami flavor)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil or butter (optional, for richness)
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (optional, for freshness)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients:
    • Slice your onion and shred the cabbage thinly.
    • Crack eggs into a small bowl and beat lightly with a pinch of salt.

    • Heat oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.
    • Add the onion and sauté for 2–3 minutes until it starts to soften.
