- 1 medium onion, finely sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small head of cabbage (about 4 cups), finely shredded
- 3 large eggs
- ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder (optional, for color and mild flavor)
- ½ teaspoon chili flakes or chopped fresh chili (optional, for a little heat)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional for umami flavor)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil or butter (optional, for richness)
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (optional, for freshness)
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients:
- Slice your onion and shred the cabbage thinly.
- Crack eggs into a small bowl and beat lightly with a pinch of salt.
- Sauté the aromatics:
- Heat oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.
- Add the onion and sauté for 2–3 minutes until it starts to soften.
