3 cups granulated sugar

5 large eggs, room temperature

3 cups all-purpose flour

½ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup whole milk, room temperature

For the Five-Flavor Glaze

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tablespoons water or milk (adjust as needed)

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

½ teaspoon lemon extract

½ teaspoon coconut extract

½ teaspoon rum extract

½ teaspoon almond extract

Directions

1. Preheat the Oven

Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).

Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt or tube pan thoroughly.

2. Cream Butter, Shortening & Sugar

In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, shortening, and sugar until light and fluffy, about 4–5 minutes.

3. Add Eggs

Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

4. Mix Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together:

Flour

Baking powder

Salt

5. Combine Batter

Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture in three additions, alternating with the milk.

Begin and end with the dry ingredients.

Stir in all five extracts until evenly combined.

6. Bake

Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 70–80 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

If the top browns too quickly, loosely tent with foil during the last 15 minutes.

7. Cool

Let cake cool in the pan for 15–20 minutes, then carefully invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Prepare the Five-Flavor Glaze

In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, liquid, and all five extracts until smooth.

Adjust thickness by adding more sugar or liquid as needed.

Glaze the Cake

Drizzle glaze over the fully cooled cake.

Allow glaze to set before slicing and serving.
