5-Minute Cupcakes (Fondant in the Mouth)

5-Minute Cupcakes (Fondant in the Mouth)
Ingredients (makes about 6–8 cupcakes):
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- 120 g sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 120 ml milk
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar (about 8–10 g)
- 1 pinch of baking powder
- Optional: 50 g melted butter or 3 tbsp vegetable oil (for extra moistness)
- Optional: 1 egg (helps structure, but can be skipped for ultra-quick version)
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners. - Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine:- Flour
- Sugar
- Vanilla sugar
- Salt
- Baking powder
Whisk together until evenly mixed.
- Add Wet Ingredients:
Slowly add the milk (and melted butter or oil if using).
If you’re using an egg, beat it lightly and add it now.
Mix gently until smooth. Avoid overmixing; a few small lumps are okay. - Fill Cupcake Liners:
Pour the batter into the liners, filling each about 2/3 full. - Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. - Cool & Serve:
Let cupcakes cool for 5 minutes in the tin, then transfer to a wire rack.
They are soft, tender, and melt in your mouth from the first bite!
Tips for Extra Flavor:
- Sprinkle powdered sugar on top before serving.
- Add chocolate chips or berries to the batter for a twist.
- For a richer taste, replace half of the milk with cream.
