Caramelized Garlic Bok Choy with Feta, Walnuts & Spicy Honey Drizzle

Ingredients:

  • 2 large heads bok choy, halved lengthwise (~700 g / 1.5 lb)
  • 3 tbsp (45 ml) olive oil
  • 3–4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • ¼ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper (or to taste)
  • ½ cup (50 g) crumbled feta cheese
  • ½ cup (50 g) chopped walnuts, toasted
  • 2–3 tbsp hot honey (adjust to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the bok choy:
Rinse the bok choy and pat dry. Slice each head in half lengthwise.

  3. Sear the bok choy:
Place bok choy cut-side down in the skillet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook 3–4 minutes until lightly caramelized, then flip and cook another 2–3 minutes until tender but still crisp.
  4. Assemble the dish:
Transfer bok choy to a serving platter. Sprinkle with crumbled feta and toasted walnuts. Drizzle generously with hot honey.

  1. Serve:
Serve immediately as a flavorful side dish or light main.
