Slow Cooker Mississippi Ribeye Steaks

Juicy, tender ribeye steaks cooked low and slow in a flavorful seasoning mix—perfect for an effortless, melt-in-your-mouth dinner.

Ingredients:

Main Protein:

  • 2 ribeye steaks (about 1.5 pounds / 680 grams total)

Seasoning & Sauce:

  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 packet (1 oz) au jus or gravy mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5–6 pepperoncini peppers (optional, for tangy flavor)

Optional Garnish:

  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Slow Cooker:
Lightly grease the bottom of your slow cooker with cooking spray or a little butter to prevent sticking.
  2. Layer the Steaks:
Place the ribeye steaks at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Add Seasonings:
Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix and au jus/gravy mix evenly over the steaks. Add garlic powder if desired.
  4. Top with Butter & Peppers:
Place the butter on top of the steaks and scatter the pepperoncini peppers over everything.
  5. Cook:
Cover and cook on low heat for 6–8 hours, or on high for 3–4 hours, until the steaks are tender and infused with the seasoning flavors.

  1. Serve:
Remove the steaks from the slow cooker and slice if desired. Spoon some of the juices and peppers over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley for a bright finish.
  2. Optional Serving Ideas:
Serve alongside mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a simple salad for a hearty meal.
