Crock-Pot Root Beer Moonshine Recipe

Crock-Pot Root Beer Moonshine Recipe
Ingredients:
2 liters Root Beer (your favorite brand)
2 cups Brown Sugar (light or dark)
1 cup White Sugar
2 tbsp Vanilla Extract
1 tbsp Root Beer Extract (found near baking supplies)
4 cups 190-proof grain alcohol (Everclear) or vodka (depending on desired strength)
Instructions:
1. Combine and Heat (Without Alcohol):
Pour the root beer, brown sugar, and white sugar into your Crock-Pot.
Stir until the sugars begin to dissolve.
Cover and cook on Low for 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
This process infuses the sweetness and thickens the mixture slightly.
2. Add Flavoring:
Turn off the Crock-Pot and allow the mixture to cool completely (important — never add alcohol to hot liquid).
Once cooled, stir in the vanilla extract and root beer extract.
3. Add Alcohol:
Slowly pour in your Everclear or vodka, stirring well to blend all flavors evenly.
Taste and adjust — if you prefer stronger flavor, add a bit more extract; for less intensity, add more root beer.
4. Bottle It Up:
Use a funnel to pour the moonshine into mason jars or bottles.
Seal tightly.
Let sit for at least 1 week in a cool, dark place to allow flavors to meld (the longer, the smoother).
To Serve:
Chill before serving — it tastes best cold or over ice.
You can also mix it with cream soda or vanilla ice cream for a root beer float twist!
