Step-by-Step Instructions

Prepare the Lentils

Place the cooked lentils in a large bowl. Using a fork or potato masher, gently mash them until partially smooth.

 

Tip: Don’t over-mash—some texture helps the balls stay light and tasty.

Mix the Ingredients

Add Parmesan, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and optional spices.

Mix well until everything is evenly combined. The mixture should be moist but firm enough to hold its shape.

Rest the Mixture (Optional but Helpful)

Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes. This helps the breadcrumbs absorb moisture and improves texture.

Shape the Balls
