Ingredients
2 lbs chicken wings, split and tips removed
1 cup pineapple juice
½ cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Optional garnish: sliced green onions or sesame seeds
Instructions
1. Prepare the Wings
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
2. Make the Glaze
In a small saucepan, combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, ketchup, and apple cider vinegar.
Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens slightly, about 5–7 minutes. Stir occasionally.
3. Bake the Wings
Arrange chicken wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment.
Brush some of the pineapple glaze over the wings.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until wings are golden and cooked through (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).
4. Glaze & Broil
Brush the wings with additional glaze.
Optional: Broil for 2–3 minutes to get extra sticky, caramelized edges.
5. Serve
Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds or sliced green onions if desired.
Pair with rice, veggies, or as a finger-food appetizer.
Tips
For extra sticky wings, reserve some glaze to toss the wings right before serving.
You can grill instead of baking for a smoky flavor.
Leftovers keep in the fridge for 2–3 days and reheat well.
