Slow Cooker 4-Ingredient Cabbage and Potatoes
Ingredients (Serves 4)
1 medium head of cabbage (chopped)
4–5 medium potatoes (peeled and cut into chunks)
1 large onion (sliced)
3–4 tbsp butter
Salt and black pepper (to taste)
Optional: 1–2 cups water or broth (for more liquid)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Ingredients
Chop the cabbage into thick pieces.
Peel and cube the potatoes.
Slice the onion.
2. Layer in the Slow Cooker
Add potatoes as the base layer.
Top with onion, then cabbage.
Place butter evenly over the top.
Season with salt and black pepper.
Pour in a little water or broth if you want a more soupy texture.
3. Slow Cook
Cover and cook on:
Low: 6–7 hours
High: 3–4 hours
Cook until the vegetables are soft, tender, and infused with buttery flavor.
4. Stir & Serve
Gently stir everything together before serving.
Spoon plenty of the buttery broth over each portion.
