Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Prepare the base:

Lightly grease a glass casserole dish and place the raw ground beef patties evenly in the bottom.

Make the sauce:

In a bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, and milk (or water) until smooth.

Assemble:

Pour the mixture evenly over the beef patties, making sure they are well covered.

Bake:

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45–55 minutes, or until the beef is fully cooked and tender.

Serve hot:

Spoon the rich, gravy-like sauce over each patty before serving.

Serving Suggestions:

This dish pairs perfectly with:

Fluffy mashed potatoes

Buttered egg noodles

Steamed green beans or peas

Fresh salad or warm dinner rolls

Tips for Success:

Add sliced onions or mushrooms for extra flavor.

For a thicker sauce, reduce the liquid slightly.

You can swap cream of mushroom with cream of chicken for a different twist.

Simple, hearty, and incredibly satisfying—this is the kind of meal that brings everyone back to the table for seconds.
