Golden Cheesy Olive Bites (3-Ingredient Low-Carb Appetizer)

Golden Cheesy Olive Bites (3-Ingredient Low-Carb Appetizer)

My neighbor used to bring these irresistible bites to every block party—and without fail, they were always the first to disappear. Made with just three simple ingredients, these cheesy olive bites are salty, melty, and surprisingly elegant. Each one is a tender, golden shell of cheese wrapped around a briny green olive, baked until perfectly bubbly. They may look gourmet, but they couldn’t be easier to make—perfect for busy days, last-minute guests, or whenever you want a quick, crowd-pleasing snack.

Ingredients

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite melty cheese)

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (or almond flour for low-carb)

18–24 green olives, drained

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.

Prepare the dough by mixing the shredded cheese and flour in a bowl until a soft dough forms.

Wrap the olives by taking a small portion of the dough and pressing it around each olive, making sure it’s fully covered.

Arrange on the tray with a little space between each piece.

Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and slightly crisp on the outside.

Serve warm for the best melty texture and flavor.

Serving Ideas

Serve these bites straight from the oven on a warm platter. They pair beautifully with a fresh green salad, crunchy veggie sticks, or a bowl of mixed nuts for a balanced low-carb spread. Add a dipping sauce like ranch, garlic aioli, or marinara for extra flavor. For drinks, they go perfectly with chilled white wine, light beer, or sparkling water with a slice of lemon.

Yield

Makes about 18–24 cheesy olive bites (serves 6–8 as an appetizer)

Simple, savory, and irresistibly cheesy—these little bites prove that sometimes the best recipes really do come down to just three ingredients.
