1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

For Assembly

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or Mexican cheese blend

Sliced black olives, for garnish (optional)

Chopped green onions or fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Sauce In a small saucepan, combine the enchilada sauce, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin. Heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, until warmed through. Keep warm.

Cook the Beef In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.

Season the Meat Add the taco seasoning and water to the skillet. Stir well and simmer for 4 to 5 minutes, until the mixture thickens and becomes flavorful.

Warm the Beans Heat the refried beans in a small saucepan or microwave until smooth and easy to spread.

Assemble the Enchiritos Lay each tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread a generous layer of refried beans down the center of each tortilla. Top with seasoned beef and a sprinkle of shredded cheese.

Roll and Arrange Fold in the sides and roll each tortilla tightly, burrito-style. Place seam-side down in a lightly greased baking dish.

Add Sauce and Cheese Pour the warm enchilada sauce evenly over the tortillas, making sure they are fully covered. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top.

Bake Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden.

Garnish and Serve Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with sliced black olives, chopped green onions, or fresh cilantro if desired.
