Ingredients

2 sheets puff pastry, thawed

8 slices smoked ham

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 egg, beaten

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Sesame seeds or poppy seeds for topping (optional)

 

 

 

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Roll out one sheet of puff pastry slightly and place it on the prepared tray.

Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard over the pastry for extra flavor.

Layer the ham slices evenly over the pastry, then sprinkle generously with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.

Season with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.

Place the second puff pastry sheet on top and gently press the edges to seal.

Brush the top with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds if desired.

Using a sharp knife, cut the pastry into squares before baking.
