20 g (1½ tablespoons) butter
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
Season the Chicken
Pat the chicken cubes dry and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Sear the Chicken
Heat the vegetable oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken pieces and cook for 5–7 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
Cook the Shallots
In the same skillet, add the chopped shallot and sauté for 2 minutes until soft and fragrant.
Make the Creamy Mustard Sauce
Lower the heat and stir in the mustard and heavy cream. Mix well until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
Combine Everything
Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it in the sauce. Simmer gently for 3–4 minutes until heated through and slightly thickened.
