Ingredients
1 can (160 g / 5.6 oz) tuna, drained
2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
1 bunch spring onions, finely chopped
1 small cabbage, shredded
70 g (2.5 oz) grated cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite melting cheese)
1 medium tomato, sliced
¼ teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
Salt, to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
Optional: ½ teaspoon paprika or dried herbs for extra flavor
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a baking dish.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shredded cabbage and spring onions. Sauté for 5–7 minutes until softened and lightly golden. Season with salt and black pepper.
Transfer the cooked cabbage mixture to a large bowl. Add the drained tuna and chopped hard-boiled eggs. Mix gently until well combined.
Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Arrange the tomato slices over the top and sprinkle generously with the grated cheese.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden.
Remove from the oven and allow the casserole to rest for a few minutes before serving.
