Creamy Chicken with Stuffing
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 package onion soup mix
1 box Stove Top stuffing (any flavor), prepared according to package instructions
Optional: Butter or cooking spray for greasing
Directions
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375º F (190º C).
Prepare Baking Dish
Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
Arrange Chicken
Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish in a single layer.
Add Soup and Seasoning
Pour the cream of chicken soup over the chicken, spreading it evenly to cover each piece.
Sprinkle the onion soup mix evenly on top.
Top with Stuffing
Prepare the Stove Top stuffing according to package instructions. Then spread the prepared stuffing evenly over the chicken and soup layer.
Bake Covered
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for about 1 hour (less if the chicken breasts are thin).
Crisp the Top
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the stuffing is slightly crisp on top.
Serve
Let the dish rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with a side of vegetables or a salad!
