Ingredients

 

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup sour cream or softened cream cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

 

 

 

 

Instructions

 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

 

Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder.

 

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 2–3 minutes per side until lightly golden. Transfer to the prepared baking dish.

 

In a medium bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, sour cream (or cream cheese), minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and half of the Parmesan cheese until smooth.

 

Pour the creamy mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.

 

Sprinkle the shredded cheese and remaining Parmesan cheese over the top.

 

Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

 

For a golden, lightly browned top, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end of baking.

 

Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

 

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
