Ingredients
12 ounces angel hair pasta

2 cups chicken stock or bone broth

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the angel hair pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter with the olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
Stir in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2–3 minutes, allowing the flavors to bloom.
Pour in the chicken stock or bone broth and bring to a gentle simmer. Let it reduce slightly for about 4–5 minutes.
Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken.
Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until fully melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Add the cooked angel hair pasta to the skillet and gently toss until evenly coated. If needed, add a splash of the reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
Stir in the fresh basil and cook for another minute until everything is warmed through.
Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese, fresh basil, and an extra sprinkle of red pepper flakes if desired.
