Ingredients
1 can (14 oz / 400 g) sweetened condensed milk
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 cups crushed butter cookies
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup desiccated coconut, plus extra for coating
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Pinch of salt
Instructions
Prepare the chocolate mixture
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk and cocoa powder until smooth and glossy.
Add the cookie crumbs
Remove from heat and mix in the crushed butter cookies, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir until a thick dough forms.
Chill the mixture
Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes so the mixture becomes easier to shape.
Shape the truffles
Scoop small portions and roll into bite-sized balls using your hands.
Coat with coconut
Roll each truffle in desiccated coconut until fully coated.
