Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken with Creamy Parmesan Pasta
Ingredients
For the Chicken:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Juice of ½ lemon
For the Creamy Parmesan Pasta:
- 8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta:
Boil the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. - Prepare the Chicken:
Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside. - Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and zest. Simmer until slightly thickened. - Combine Everything:
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss well. Slice the chicken and place it on top. - Garnish & Serve:
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve immediately while warm and creamy!
