Apple Pie Moonshine for Canadians!

 

 

 

We could not find Everclear nor Carmel Vodka. Substituted butter ripple schnapps and spiced rum (cup and a half of each) and it turned out very well. It tasted just like apple pie.

 

2L apple juice.

2L apple cider.

3/4 cups each of white and brown sugar.

1 cinnamon stick.

1 teaspoon of nutmeg.

1 teaspoon of cloves in a teaball. Heat on saute till sugars are dissolved. The high pressure for 45 mins.

NPR 15 mins. Let it cool. Remove teaball and cinnamon stick.

Once at room temp add 1.5 cups each of butter ripple schnapps and spiced rum. Stir. Put in containers. Add cinnamon sick to each jar and seal.
