2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
150 g shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
For the Pastry:
2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Sesame seeds or nigella seeds (optional)
Instructions
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onion until soft, then add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add the minced meat and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
Season with paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2–3 minutes, then stir in the parsley. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into squares or rectangles.
Place a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center of each piece and top with shredded cheese.
Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges with a fork.
Arrange on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
