10–12 (perfect for parties & game day)

Ingredients

1 lb (450 g) ground beef (lean preferred)

16 oz (450 g) processed melting cheese (like Velveeta), cut into cubes

1 can (10–16 oz / 300–450 g) salsa or diced tomatoes with green chilies (undrained)

1 can (15 oz / 425 g) chili beans or seasoned black beans (drained)

Instructions

1. Brown the beef

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat

Add ground beef and cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking it apart

Cook until fully browned (no pink remains)

Drain excess grease

2. Load the slow cooker

Add cubed cheese to the slow cooker

Add cooked ground beef

Pour in salsa (with juices)

Add drained beans

3. Cook

Cover and cook on LOW for 1.5–2 hours

Stir every 30 minutes if possible

Cook until cheese is fully melted and smooth

4. Final stir

Stir everything well until creamy and combined

If it’s too thick, add a splash of milk to loosen it

Serve

Keep on WARM setting during serving

Serve with:

Tortilla chips

Nachos

Veggies (carrots, celery, bell peppers)

Optional Add-Ons (if you want to upgrade it)

Jalapeños for extra heat

Onion or garlic (cook with beef)

Taco seasoning for more flavor

Fresh cilantro on top

Extra Ideas

Pour over fries for loaded queso fries

Use in tacos or burritos

Spoon over baked potatoes

Tips

Stir occasionally to prevent burning on the sides

Use LOW heat to keep it creamy (HIGH can separate the cheese)
