4-Ingredient Slow Cooker Chili Con Queso with Ground Beef

Ingredients
1 lb (450 g) ground beef (lean preferred)
16 oz (450 g) processed melting cheese (like Velveeta), cut into cubes
1 can (10–16 oz / 300–450 g) salsa or diced tomatoes with green chilies (undrained)
1 can (15 oz / 425 g) chili beans or seasoned black beans (drained)
Instructions
1. Brown the beef
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat
Add ground beef and cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking it apart
Cook until fully browned (no pink remains)
Drain excess grease
2. Load the slow cooker
Add cubed cheese to the slow cooker
Add cooked ground beef
Pour in salsa (with juices)
Add drained beans
3. Cook
Cover and cook on LOW for 1.5–2 hours
Stir every 30 minutes if possible
Cook until cheese is fully melted and smooth
4. Final stir
Stir everything well until creamy and combined
If it’s too thick, add a splash of milk to loosen it
Serve
Keep on WARM setting during serving
