Golden Sausage & Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls

These warm, flaky crescent rolls stuffed with creamy cheese and savory sausage are the kind of snack that disappears within minutes. Ingredients

1 lb (450 g) breakfast sausage

8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened

2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for extra cheesiness)

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the sausage

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.

 

 

 

Make the filling

Lower the heat and stir in the cream cheese until melted and creamy. Add garlic powder and black pepper. Mix in cheddar cheese if using.

Prepare the dough

Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.

Fill and roll

Spoon a small amount of the sausage mixture onto the wide end of each triangle, then roll them up tightly.

Bake

Arrange the rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Serve warm

Garnish with parsley if desired and enjoy while warm and flaky.
