Creamy Garlic Mushroom Stuffed Chicken Rolls

 

 

 

Juicy chicken breasts are rolled around a rich, cheesy mushroom filling, then baked in a silky garlic cream sauce until perfectly tender. This elegant yet comforting dish is perfect for a cozy family dinner or a special occasion meal.

Ingredients

2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup mushrooms, finely sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

¼ cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

½ teaspoon paprika

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

 

 

 

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish and set aside.

Slice each chicken breast horizontally to create four thin cutlets. Place them between sheets of plastic wrap and gently pound until evenly thin.

In a skillet, heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and cook for 4–5 minutes, until softened and lightly golden.

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

In a bowl, combine the cooked mushroom mixture, cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, and half of the chopped parsley. Mix until creamy and well blended.

Season the chicken cutlets with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.

Divide the mushroom filling evenly among the chicken pieces. Roll each one tightly and secure with toothpicks if needed.

Arrange the chicken rolls seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.

In the same skillet, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring gently for 1–2 minutes. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken rolls.

Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Garnish with the remaining fresh parsley before serving.
