Cheesecake Deviled Strawberries
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh strawberries (large and ripe)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1–2 Tbsp heavy cream (if needed to thin the mixture)
- 1/4 cup crushed Golden Oreos or graham crackers
- 1 Tbsp crushed freeze-dried strawberries
Instructions
- Prep the Strawberries
Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries. Slice each berry in half lengthwise, then gently scoop out a small pocket using a spoon or melon baller. - Make the Filling
In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth and fluffy. If the mixture is too thick to pipe, add 1–2 tablespoons of heavy cream. - Fill the Strawberries
Spoon or pipe the cheesecake filling into the hollowed strawberry halves. - Make the Crunch Topping
Combine the crushed cookies or graham crackers with the crushed freeze-dried strawberries. - Add the Topping
Generously sprinkle the strawberry crunch mixture over the filled strawberries. - Chill and Serve
Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to set.
Optional Add-Ons
- Serve with extra cheesecake dip in the center of the platter.
- Drizzle with melted white chocolate for added sweetness.
- Use chocolate cookie crumbs for a chocolate-cheesecake variation.
